Another view of something we have seen before.
From this angle, it looks like the castle is floating but, since you know that there are no floating castles anywhere, you may have guessed that is isn’t floating. We are still in Quebec City but will be leaving shortly.

As I certainly mentioned before, this is one of the nicest buildings in Quebec City. Chateau Frontenac was built in 1893 and was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1980.

I know I have taken a lot of pictures of this building, and I am certain that, when go back, I will take even more, but I truly believe this is a gorgeous piece or architecture.

This image looked “moody”, and that is where the name came. It is a demanding task to come up with interesting (at least I hope they are) names, day after day, for over 180 days, and without repetition. And I still have 186 more to go!

This is, in my opinion, one the most wonderful buildings in Québec City. It is one I have photographed a lot! They don’t build things like this anymore. Most modern buildings look like boxes with holes in them.
We will certainly see more of it in the future, although not in the very near future. This is of course Chateau Frontenac. In 2004, it was being restored, that is why there is that green thing on the roof. I wonder why someone decided to put a light on it?
